This is a beautiful watch. However, if you are looking for a huge statement in bling.... this is not it. It is delicate and . I only use the red strap at the moment. I don't know that I will ever need the other color straps.

New Oris small seconds 1000M Diver

A few weeks back, I entered the Oris arena with a Maldives LE. Wore the Maldives a few days and really enjoyed the looks. Great dial, applied markers, orange lume, small seconds etc. But, just couldn't get used to the smaller 44mm sizing as well as the lightness of the titanium. Vintage Seiko Diver-- modified and meshified!

This restored and modded 1984 Seiko 6309 diver that I've nicknamed "Red October" originally arrived with a standard Seiko Z22 dive strap:Blech! I hate these! I tried a number of alternatives Watchadoo lumpy, Zulu strap, etc.Nada! None looked or felt right. Until I tried a shark mesh Oh, yeah! Fits perfect! OK, so maybe mesh is more 70's than 80's but I don't care!
