So I just got a watch with a 8215 movement. Inexpensive watch, Redline, but I figured with a decent movement it should be okay. I like the watch but noticed that the second hand stops every now and then around the 12 o'clock position. Then I started reading about how quirky this movement is. At first I thought it didn't have enough power, so I wound the crap out of it, and this is after wearing it for half a day. Does this sound like normal quirkiness or does it need to be returned?
I'm going to be in Manhattan in a couple weeks. I have a couple free days, but they are pretty much planned out. I will have some free time in the East Village area above Houston and below 13th st. I will also be walking around East Midtown from 50th to 63rd or so around Madison and Park Ave.I plan on stopping in on the new GP mothership and also at Aaron Faber's which is an amazing place for vintage. I will probably also step into the Rolex Bld. which is right there, also.Can anyone suggest
