Just got back from visiting AFT today. Met Gary who was great at showing me all their Seiko lines. I was there to see the GS gmt, which did not disappoint (hopefully I can swing a deal!). It was really cool seeing so many spring drive watches in one place, and Gary couldn't have been nicer or knowledgeable (he handles their cigar biz mostly, but still knew his stuff about the watches). Sorry I missed Joe, but did have a chance to briefly say hi to the owner, Mitchell.It was cool being in a place
On page 2 in MBHawaii's Daytona post I asked why it is refered to as the Paul Newman dial? I know who PN was and his relation to racing , but is it all contrasting sub dial Daytonas that are refered to as Paul Newmans? And why? A little history would be great, espically with some vintage Daytona pics. Thanks for any and all information in advance.
