I currently own a Hamilton GE Savitar II electric watch. I am wondering what the original strap or band was for this version of the Savitar II. In Rene Rondeau's most recent edition of his book, on page 196, there is a picture of this watch with a brown leather or lizard strap. I just had an eBay buyer return a Hamilton Electric watch claiming it was a redone dial and he wanted an original dial. I would have though it was original, but he makes some good points. Specifically, he says the proportion of the word "electric" to the word "Hanilton" looks off. He also felt that some of the chapter/hour markers looked too rounded (not square enough) indicating a poorly done redial.There are no markings on the back of the dial indicating any dial work was done.
